New Clubhouse

We plan to open our new clubhouse at Whiteman Park with our first General Meeting there in March.

This event will realise several years of hard work put in by a small team of club volunteers, led by Ross Oxwell.

More news on this significant event will be available soon.

Newer Cars for “Round-the-Houses”

We are excited to announce that some newer sports cars are now eligible to compete in our famous “Round-the-Houses” regularity events.

From this year onwards, production sports cars produced prior to 2000 will be able to compete in our regularity events at Northam and Albany.

This will mean that owners of the cars listed below (and others) will be able to join in the fun of “spirited driving” in front of large crowds around the street circuits of these towns:

Mazda MX5 (NA & NB)

Toyota MR2

MG F

Porsche Boxter (986)

Nissan 300ZX

Fiat X1/9

Lotus Elise

Alfa Romeo GTV (FWD)

Entries will be accepted for vehicles listed in Motorsport Australia’s 2nd Category – Sports Cars Group 2F – Prodsports Eligible Vehicles. Vehicles must be manufactured prior to January 1st, 2000 and may have limited modifications. Turbo-charged and supercharged vehicles will not be eligible. A full list of vehicles can be obtained via the following link:

Competitors will require:

·         Current membership of a car club affiliated with Motorsport Australia (MA)

·         An MA Level 2S licence or superior

·         An MA approved helmet, neck to wrist to ankle clothing in non-synthetic material (or an approved driving suit), MA approved gloves and leather shoes.

The dates for our events are:

·         Northam Flying Fifty – Sunday 27 April

·         Albany Classic – Sunday 1 June.

These cars are also eligible for our regularity and sprint events at:

·         Collie Coalfields 500 – 27/28 September

·         Vintage Stampede – 7 December.

Entry details and supplementary regulations for Northam will be available on our website in February.

Northam Motor Sport Festival

Our next competition event is the Northam Motor Sport Festival on 26 & 27 April 2025.

On the Saturday we will have the Mt Ommanney Hill-climb run by the Triumph Sports Owners Association.

On the Sunday we will have the Northam Flying Fifty regularity event around the streets of the town.

Further information will be available in February.
