MetalUp-coming Events Collie Coalfields 500 21/22 September at Collie Motorplex This promises to be a cracker of a historic racing weekend and is being run back-to-back with a similar event the weekend before at Wanneroo (Carco.com) Raceway. In addition to our usual regularity events, there will be a great variety of historic racing featuring local and interstate competitors. A “headline act” will be Nick Swift, the well-known Mini racer from the UK, driving a Mini borrowed from a Queensland competitor.We’re also expecting around 20 interstate drivers in the Historic Touring Cars competing with the locals and the Formula Vees will have an expected field of 30 cars, including interstate drivers.
